Once you have successfully configured all of the PowerPoint shapes to one of the DSan data objects (Limitimer, PerfectCue or Deliberator), save PowerPoint and then close the file. Navigate to the configuration file as the same name as the PowerPoint file. Right click and select Properties. Change to "Read only." Now, you can continue to work on the design of the PowerPoint file, and as long as you don't delete any slide objects, the DataConnect configuration will not be affected.

The latest version of DataConnect allows you to make connections to the data source with either the VC-2000 Cat-5-USB dongle or from a network using your computer's network card. You can make multiple connections. Some objects on the power point slide can be sourced from the network connection. Other objects can be sourced from the dongle.

There are some important way to configure a text box to keep the digits aligned. Firstly, the text box should have its content right-aligned. In the Format Shape dialog box, check "Do no Autofit" and ( important!) check "Wrap text in shape". It appears that the first command doesn't work without the second.
